Brews its own beer
One of the moments that I enjoyed most on the trip to Amsterdam wasn't the Anne Frank Museum or the legendary Red Light District. Instead, it was this hidden but charming spot: the Brouwerij't brewery. It took us almost all the afternoon to find it, but it was definitely worth it. It's a picturesque spot, located right next to the Gooyer Windmill, the only survivor of the five that once operated in the Plantage area. This is an authentic brewery, located in the site of former public baths. We were told that it's the only one in the city that makes its own beer. We tasted three different varieties - they had many more on offer - and they were delicious.
