Edificio Banco de Santander

The Edificio Banco de Santander is perhaps the most emblematic building in Santander. It has been the headquarters of Banco Santander since 1923, so you can't visit the inside. It's located in the center of town on Paseo de Pereda and is an imposing 5-story building whose two bodies are joined by a great arc under which cars and pedestrians are constantly passing. What caught my attention were the four huge sculptures in the central part of the facade (they symbolize culture, navigation, art and commerce). You can't miss it if you're in Santander.
