It seems to be just another one of the colored houses in Valparaiso, but it is one of the most famous restaurants in the area (or at least so I was told). It specializes in Chilean cuisine. I would recommend their seafood and fish (it is all very fresh), but you can also have steaks and salads. It has an indoor dining room with a large window overlooking the harbor, which makes it a very bright place. It also has a terrace, ideal for hot days.
Half a block from the Plaza Anibal Pinto lies this traditional German bar, well known throughout Valparaiso. If you ask almost everybody will know where it can be found. Those who know and like German food, this place has delicacies. The marine-themed décor is very striking. It is a recommended place for the picturesque and traditional cuisine and for those who like beer . It is worth mentioning that it comes out to be of average price and not cheap.
