This is a city where you can eat well, walk the streets, explore the waterfront, and be inspired by its spectacular carnival! It's a must! In summer, you can enjoy the beaches on the banks of the Paraná River. People are friendly and welcoming. This was a whole other side to Argentina for us.

The Gral San Martin Avenue North Coast is a beautiful urban promenade that stretches along the banks of the Parana River from the Interprovincial Bridge General Manuel Belgrano to Punta San Sebastián. Its route of 2500 meters stands out as the most visited and walked by the inhabitants of the city and also by tourists, and is the best choice for sports, walking or just to see beautiful trees, such as jacaranda. It is decorated with beautiful landscapes of legendary history and the tradition of a people steeped in this .. This is a Cebu cow. This type of animal was introduced into Argentina to see if it would thrive, but we do not like the meat it produces. Here, we eat other meat like Aberdeen Angus or Shorthorn, but the Cebu are bred for export only as well as for leather. It was originally brought from Brazil. Corrientes is the main meat-exporting region in Argentina.

We traveled from Olavarria to visit some friends and, on the way, we met wonderful people, our excitement overriding the fatigue of travel, and we left with promises to return again. A salute to everyone who wants to visit the place, and I'd encourage you to visit because it's a humble but unique place. All the best, Roberto.

Here in front of the port of Corrientes, you can see the brown river carrying the sediments from the Bermejo River. On one side, the water is clear, coming from Mission and Iguazu Falls. The two waters continue mixing until your reach Goya, then the Parana River officially begins.

This is a huge pollution-free hydraulic power generator shared between Paraguay and Argentina. It is located 1000km north of Buenos Aires and 300km from Asuncion, on the islands of Yacyreta, Talavera and Apipe Grande. While its main objective is low-cost hydroelectric power, it also takes advantage of the Parana river channel to facilitate navigation and aid regional development projects. The structure is fantastic and there aren't enough words to describe this man-made wonder: it's a series of road, bridges, waste-water treatment plants, and airports that have improved the quality of life of local cities of Ituzaingo, Ayolas, Posadas, and Incarnation. It continues to built coastal treatment centers, bridges, roads, water networks, and provides services to the local municipalities.

Route No. 5

Coming back from San Miguel to the capital of Corrientes, on Route 5 near San Luis del Palmar, we saw a marsh with beautiful vegetation and the stunning sunset in the background and stopped to take some photos. A local recommended we take pictures of a family of Capybaras that hung around the wetland, but as the light was already dim, the animals took refuge in the vegetation and we could only take pictures of the sunset. In another shot you can see these animals so typical of this area, but there isn't much definition. The best thing to do is wlak up and appreciate them with your eyes, not your camera! To the left of the picture, you can see one Capybara who lives there with her partner and their young. I found it odd to see them so close to the road as they usually are highly-prized by sport hunters.

Municipal Campsite
Hello, my name is Eva and 1 month ago I made a trip to the north and one of the places I liked best, apart from the waterfalls, were the Ibera estuaries. It's an amazing place with lots of history, and I just wanted to mention that the municipal campsite is excellent!
