Holy Cross of the Valle de Los Caídos

Besides polical issues, the cross in the Valley of the Fallen is an impressive view from any of the surroundings. The cross is flanked by the four evangelists with incredible dimensions (150 meters tall) so that you can see it from 40 kilometers away from anywhere. It's the tallest Christian cross in the world and it's in the vicinity of San Lorenzo del Escorial, a town with a lot of history.
