Important marine fauna

Greetings travelers. Right next to the beautiful island of Koh Tao, Koh Nang Yuang Island offers this little beach with special charm. The beach joins the three small islands by a narrow strip of sand about 20 meters wide and 300 meters long. The best thing is the quality of the water that offers a simply spectacular visibility. You just have to get in the water to see the amazing marine life since the island is surrounded by coral teeming with colourful fish. If you stay in the bungalows, it's just 1-2 minutes to the beach. The accommodation is not very large because of the island's size and besides the few daily tours, it's a very quiet island where you can lie in the sun without interruption. Despite having a row of umbrellas, which in part can be considered necessary in some cases, the harmony of the spectacular scenery is unlike other much better known destinations. You can enjoy peace of mind and there's not much to do except sunbathe, snorkel and grab a snack at the only beach bar next to the pier. Koh Nang Yuan Beach is a good place to rest in one of the places with most important marine fauna of Thailand.

Located a few hundred meters from the...

Located a few hundred meters from the island of Koh Tao, southeast of Thailand, the small island of Koh Nang Yuan is a paradise for lovers and fans of diving! You can reach the island from Koh Tao or other southern islands (Koh Samui or Koh Nang Yuan), by ferry, or Taxi Boat from Koh Tao (for about 8 euros). If you just want to spend the day on the beaches of the island, you will need to overcome a 100 baht entrance ticket (2 euros), according to local authorities intended to preserve the site. Plastic bottles and are prohibited on the island. One hotel has exclusive bungalows that you can take, with a fairly wide range of prices depending on the view that you can enjoy, but still expect between 40 and 80 euros per night! This island consists of three small islands, connected by a sandbar, which can disappear as "tides" (tides several meters worry you). A large restaurant offers everything you want in the "tourist" price! And the main attraction of this island is its great diving school, offering you any kind of formula prices defying French competition! So you can get your PADI Open Water for about 200 euros, or make your "first dive" for 50 euros. The seabed is beautiful, ask if you can go to the "Japanese Garden" to admire a collection of beautiful coral and colorful fish! Maybe you come across a Barracuda or a "fish-rabbit", in any case, you will keep in mind this little corner of paradise long for sure! One small problem: The huge amount of tourists who arrive each day on the island by boat to spend the day with such huge groups of Chinese and Japanese from making withdrawals from dives together ... From 17h and departure of the last boats bringing tourists on Koh Tao, then you will find the tranquility of this beautiful island! ...
