Les Mouettes Campsite
The Camping les Mouettes (gulls in French) is the height of Martigues on the Mediterranean coast. It is very well located, and once you arrive, you will not need the car at all. The beach of Sainte Croix is a beautiful cove, very natural, with pine trees that give shade. Right outside the camping space, there is a little convenience store, which naturally is more expensive than the supermarket. However, if you only come with basic food, you will probably need some fruits and vegetables. There are a few restaurants around too. The campsite has places to put your tent, and rent mobile homes. Some have direct view of the path of customs, and the sea! During the summer, children 12 and under can participate in a lot of free activities organized by the campsite.
