Ptuj Castle

Grad Ptujski by name, it is situated on a small hill (great views of the village) by the river Drava. The first castle built in the tenth or eleventh century (one tower remains). In the first half of the twelfth century it was rebuilt (the Leslijev wing still exists today). Subsequent modifications left a Renaissance and Baroque feel. Today, Ptuj Castle is a museum where you can see musical instruments used in the past.
