Most have a balcony with sea view. There is a mini bar and satellite TV in each room. There are three restaurants, plus an English bar that is being renovated. The restaurants offer buffets and a la carte menu, with Italian-inspired food, as well asFrench and Moroccan cuisine. The pool is heated during the winter, and there are a number of tennis courts and an indoor gym too. It´s a perfect place any time of the year. The double room starts at 75 euros whereas the full price is 150. There are offers online in the low season.
The hotel was renovated in 2013, and is great in terms of the quality / price ratio. The restaurant is great for dinner, better than the other nearby options. There's also a beautiful pool, original decor, and a breakfast buffet included in the price. I'll be back, and I hope to find the same quality in the future. Free parking.
The Odyssee Park is a resort that is on the Atlantic coast of Morocco, in the town of Agadir. It is a modern resort, organised around a pool. It's guarded day and night to keep out the souvenir sellers that tend to pester tourists until they feel they have to buy something out of desperation. The hotel people are very nice, and most of the guests are French and German. It's five minutes walk from the beach, which is 6km long and one of the nicest in the country, and it's also close to some great nightlife. The rooms have a small balcony where you can have breakfast. They are air conditioned, and have been renovated recently. A double room is 60 euros, a single 40 euros, with breakfast included.
Agadir is the Torremolinos of Morocco, but in the old part of town (relatively old, because an earthquake destroyed virtually everything in the 60s), a bit farther away from the beaches but with a local atmosohere, you can find a cozy 2 star hotel with an attentive staff, clean rooms and a small garden.
The hotel is on the Kamal Hassan II strip, to limit the Tallborjt Nouveau district. It is a 3 star hotel with 128 rooms. Some are triple for four people, which face the street and have phonic insulation, while those which face the pool have a balcony. The beach is a 10 minutes walk away, there are several shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are simple, with inexpensive décor and furnishing, a small TV, a desk, and a private bathroom. The hotel has a restaurant with a buffet if you bought a package, and one that serves a la carte. Near the pool they also make snacks. The double room costs 45 euros per night, the triple 55 euros. There is up to 30% discount in low season depending on when you go for a visit.
The South Bay hotel is in the center of Agadir, about 10 minutes walk from the beach. It is a large hotel that offers mainly all inclusive packages for European tourists. The air-conditioned rooms are a good size with a private bathroom. It has Western decor and it seems just like any chain hotel without any charm. Downstairs has a bar and a restaurant with shows and live music at least one night a week. The hotel has a swimming pool, a sports hall, and a lot of activities organized for guests. There is a smaller pool for children. The single room is 40 euros per night, the double is 45 euros, and the suites are 70 euros. Children under 2 year stay for free, and children under 12 stay for half. Breakfast can be purchased for 3 euros.
This residence is in the centre of Agadir, in a large avenue with quite a bit of traffic. There aren't many affordable options closer to the beach. You can book in advance, but you must do it at least three weeks before arrival, and pay a deposit of half the price. In low season, excluding the month of August, a single room is 380 dirhams, and a double 440. You can add an extra bed for 100 dirhams more. Breakfast costs 36 per person, and dinner 130, but I recommend you eat at one of the many restaurants on the nearby boardwalk. In high season, add 20 dirhams to the price per room. The rooms are modern, and the higher floors have ocean views.
The Atlas is located on the 20th of August Avenue, near the 6 kilometre long Agadir beach, a favorite for tourists. It is a nice, recently opened hotel, with a large pool and spa. It is a fashionable place where the rich Moroccans come to have a drink at night, just note the number of luxury cars parked in front! The hotel is built on nearly 2 acres of ground with tropical gardens. It has a total of 335 rooms, a nightclub and a meeting room for professionals. There are three restaurants, so if you spend a week as part of an all inclusive package, do not worry, there are lots to choose from. The clientele is French, Russian, German or British. It is a five star hotel.
