2 reviews of Augustinerplatz

Heart of the city

The Agustinerplatz is one of the central squares of the old town of Freiburg, where we find buildings like the Augustinermuseum, former Augustinian convent and now one of the best museums in Freiburg and remains of the walls. Natives have chosen it as their favorite place, and no wonder, the atmosphere in the Plaza is tremendous. We arrived on a hot summer day, seeing the square iand some of the terraces on its side. Many people relax on the steps of the plaza, feel the freshness of the famous "Bächle", small channels that run through most city streets. There is a touch of the Mediterranean city to Fribourg, especially in places like this.
