Praia com História
A Praia dos Anjos está situada entre a Marina dos Pescadores de Arraial e o Porto do Forno, à esquerda, e à direita, o morro do Pontal do Atalaia. A água do mar é clara e morna em comparação à da Praia Grande, outra praia de Arraial.
Arraial foi o lugar onde a expedição de Américo Vespúcio desembarcou no Brasi, em 1503, e alguns guias da cidade contam que foi na praia dos Anjos. Nesse mesmo ano ele construiu a primeira igreja na cidade. Com o passar do tempo, a cidade foi crescendo e se desenvolvendo, e por isso a Igreja de Nossa Senhora dos Remédios acabou ficando "de costas" para a cidade, coisa não muito comum. A Igreja se localiza no Bairro dos Anjos, que tem o mesmo nome da praia do bairro. Em grande parte dos casos, os bairros de Arraial têm o mesmo nome das praias principais de cada um.
Gosto muito da "vista" geral da Praia dos Anjos, sempre com os barcos no fundo, o mar azul claro, e as montanhas no final.

The sea water is clear and warm compared to the Praia Grande, another beach in Arraial. I love the "view" general Praia dos Anjos, always with boats in the background, the clear blue sea and the mountains at the end.
