We started our journey in Valladolid on Highway 122, passing through the villages of Onesimus Quintanilla, Valbuena de Duero, Pesquera, Curiel de Duero and Penafiel, this area is the essence of the wines of Ribera del Duero. It has views of the best wineries in the region. Some of the most renowned being, Vega Sicilia, Pesquera, Protos, Matarromera, Emilio Moro. It is also recommended to visit the Monastery of Santa Maria de Balbuena, Penafiel Castle. Above all you can not miss trying the lamb at the Mill Palace in the town of Penafiel. It is a real gastronomic treat.
