Aboraginal Bora Ring

Located on the outskirts of Lismore Wyrallah, one finds one of the many Aboriginal ceremonial rings. A Bora is the name given both to an initiation ceremony of the Indigenous Australians and also the site in which the initiation takes place. It is the place where rituals were held in Indigenous tribes to mark the passing from teen to adult. The entrance is located in the southwestern part of the ring and access is marked throughout the fields. Well worth it!
