Aci Trezza is next to Aci Castello and it is situated in the province of Catania. It is just by the sea and is about 10 miles from the centre of Catania. It is famous for its wonderful countryside. It is a coastal town with a lovely harbour with modest colourful boats which give an incredible beauty to the area. The homes here are pretty unassuming and the result is an entirely picturesque town which is worth a visit. Aci Trezza does not not have many beaches and the few beaches that there are have black sand, but the water in this coastal area is amazingly clear, you can see the bottom of the deep sea.
