Adam & Van Eekelen is a new concept that gin and vodka lovers can’t miss. The last few years, we always head to Pez street and its surrounding area in search of a new spot to try, something new and fresh.
This store is much more than that. You could even say that it’s a completely new concept to the Spanish capital. What’s so special about it? Starting with the visuals, it’s decoration. Going down Fuencarral street, full of fashion and suddenly, at 36 Pez street you find a small nook that takes you back to the 1930s.
You feel bad walking into the place with wet shoes, but the owners are so nice and friendly that they really make you feel at home. There’s an never-ending list of gins, of all shapes and sizes, for all the possible mixes you could think of, and with options for anyone’s economic situation. Looking at the right side, there are nice shelves filled with what looks like it could become the next trend, the next boom: vodka of all types. They’ll recommend drinks for you and help you figure out what you like.
