This is one of the most visited Orthodox churches, filled with Byzantine icons and paintings in dark and golden tones. Here you can learn more about the crossroads of cultures, with churches, synagoges, mosques and Turkish baths. Next to the tree of Hippocrates is one mosque, and there's a beautiful Greco-Roman villa nearby with a mosaic of the Rape of Europa.

La chiesa "Agia Paraskevi" si trova in pieno centro di Kos, in pratica è la Chiesa principale della città. La Chiesa è prettamente Ortodossa, lo stile è davvero molto colorato che si sposa bene con l'architettura ed i colori dell'Isola. Basta solo notare le piccole cupole blu. L'interno è ricco di icone e candelabri e da porticati coloratissimi. Da visitare!

The church "Agia Paraskevi" is located in the center of Kos, in practice it is the main church of the city. The Church is strictly Orthodox, the style is very colorful which goes well with the architecture and the colors of the island. Just notice the small blue domes. The interior is full of icons and candles and colorful arcades. To visit!
