Water temples in India, where shoes are left outside
This is the place where you will find the most Indian tourists every day, Vashishta temple. These waters are famous for their medicinal properties and when you go, chances are you will find them crowded (the weekend don´t even bother) . They open at 7:00, one of the few quiet moments of the day and close late, about 21pm. Entrance is free, but you have to pay 1RP to leave your shoes outside,and it is considered sacred and one can not go in with shoes. The toilets are separated by sex, so what I tell you is in the area of women, but I imagine it will be the same for men. The water temperature is high, forcing you to enjoy it slowly and once you get in, staying under will not be easy.
