Alexandria Beaches

The beaches of Alexandria are very popular for the Egyptians. The beaches are a meeting place for local residents and other Egyptians. It's interesting watching the thousands of umbrellas almost on top of each other and seeing how the Egyptians go in the water fully clothed. It´s difficult to go for a swim on its beaches since you might look bad for going in with just a swimsuit but just walking and watching the great contrast of people dressed in many colors mixed in with all of the colorful umbrellas is worth it.

There are beaches which are visited by foreign people from all over the world like San Stefano Hotel beach and Azur Hotel beach. Wonderful places.
