All Saints of Cocentaina Fair

6 reviews of All Saints of Cocentaina Fair

Very entertaining

This is one of the more important markets in the region. A great number of visitors come, and each year it gets bigger and bigger. It’s always on All Saints Day, this year it was October 31st to November 2nd, and it’s been a tradition since 1346.

There are 97,430 meters of exhibition space, a medieval market, an Arab Morocan market, machinery, diverse products, plus much, much more. You can buy anything from a donkey to a car, haha. This market occupies a good part of Cocentaina. Its both pretty and stupendous. It’s best just to go and see it.

A little bit of everything

The Concentaina market happens once a year and last four days, always around November 1st. They sell products ranging from polvoron (Spanish shortbread), turron (typical Spanish Christmas desert), plus an endless assortment of other items. There’s also a medieval market. More than 500,000 people visit it over the course of the four days.

You can spend the entire day wandering around the market, eating and sampling foods. It’s always a good time spending a day at the market.
