Amalfi

Amalfi is said to be the heart and soul of this wonderful Italian coast. The houses and streets of Amalfi, all built on natural terraces which lead down to the blue sea below, have yellowish walls emblematic of the area, but far different than those you'd see in Rome. Colorful, thick gardens are scattered around the houses, and the narrow streets and flights of stairs converge at the Piazza del Duomo, which dominates the dreamy landscape. This unique atmosphere of terraces, streets, colorful gardens, hanging houses, and the majestic cathedral Amalfi something out of a dream.
