A small fishing village

The seaside town of Anse La Raye is the district capital of Anse La Raye. It is located in the west of the island of St. Lucia, about 8 km from Castries(the capital). It is a small fishing village that has around 6,000 inhabitants, and is bathed by the Caribbean. The main road is Front Street, a pedestrian street that runs parallel to the bay with colonial-style buildings where you can find shops and restaurants. The main site-seeing attraction is the Roman Catholic Church, built during the 18th century, but rebuilt in 1907 by the parishioners themselves. In terms of nature, just outside the city
