A perfect excuse to get up early on a Sunday morning, especially if the weather is beautiful. I’d never been up in a hot-air balloon before and the sensation was indescribable. It’s calming when you’re up there floating over the towns and vineyards, enjoying a glass of Cava 1,300 meters up. Simply amazing.
Without a doubt, one of the most exciting thing I've ever done was flying over La Rioja in a hot-air balloon. If you like photography, you’ll understand why I feel that way. Same with nature-lovers. Or amateur pilots, or fans of beautiful sunrises!
All of this comes together in one unforgettable event: a hot-air balloon ride we took over La Rioja first thing in the morning. I’d never been in a hot-air balloon before and the truth is that the sensation is one of absolute peace. All of sudden, you feel this intense liberation inside and you can’t stop snapping photos!
The experience of flying over La Rioja’s villages and vineyards in a hot-air balloon is amazing!! To top it off, you can even have a glass of cold Riojan Cava over a thousand meters up! It’s the best! Don’t hesitate!
