Baluard - Walled

This place is known for its succession of walls, gates and towers. The "Old Bridge" offers a nice view of the town. It is also essential to walk around the outside of these magnificent canvas walls, about 6 meters high and nearly five feet thick. The walls of the villa are considered the best preserved in Catalonia and also among the most beautiful. I have visited several times. I remember the first time we came here with a friend from Barcelona who told us that the legend of Sant Jordi was developed in this village and also in one of the doors or portals, one can read and recreate this curious story that is part of the identity of this land.
