Beato Mariano Square Fountain

1 review of Beato Mariano Square Fountain

Beato Mariano Square Fountain

When visiting the village of Bellegra, we came upon one of the most emblematic places of the area named Piazza del Beato Mariano Roccacasale. We took a break to rest there as it is a secluded place with a gazebo of about 815 meters, which was once built as a retaining wall to the north of the city and from where you can see the whole countryside of Subiaco (east of Rome). In the year 2002, a stone fountain made by the children of the Bellegra School during a ceramics course was erected. The fountain, besides being authentic to Bellegra, represents the Celestial Legend and Mountain.
