Ferrara Cathedral Bell Tower

1 review of Ferrara Cathedral Bell Tower

An unfinished piece

The Campanile of the Cathedral of Ferrara is attributed to the Genoese architect Leon Battista Alberti, although whether or not he actually made it is doubtful. Made from pink and white marble, it was built between 1451 and 1493, and although further work was done in the sixteenth century, it remains an unfinished piece.
