Billy fury Statue

Nowadays, when we think of rock and roll stars who come from Liverpool, we remember the Beatles, of course, but Billy Fury was also born in this English city. Born Ronald Wycherley in 1940, during his career he produced songs that were on a par with Elvis or the Beatles. He died young, at 42, of a heart attack, and this statue at the Museum of Liverpool was raised by his fan club. Bouquets are often placed in front of it, in memory.
