Birth of Guaro River

The beginning of the Guaro River is found in Guara, a village in Malaga Periana in Upper Axarquia. It's a peaceful haven where water flows from several springs. The views of the village are very nice. You reach this place from the Periana apiary, 3 miles past the exit for baths, or from the Port to Periana sign. In the village there is a restaurant with very good liquor, an inn, and several houses for rent. The spring is spectacular in winter, as it still flows from the mountain.
