Black Horse Tavern

We ate lunch at the Black Horse Tavern as part of our tour with Hidden Gems Bermuda, as lunch was included at this authentic Bermudian establishment. In the picture, it appeared as though the sign had fallen from the building, most likely after the hurricane that recently hit Bermuda. There were seats indoors as well as outdoors. We happily took a seat at a table outside that had gorgeous views of the water, some boats, and some pastel homes off in the distance. As for our meal, there was a vegan chickpea burger on the menu that we ordered with some fries and a small salad. It only seemed fitting on a warm day that we paired the burger with a Ginger Beer, a fizzy, refreshing beverage that’s unique to the area and bottled on the island.
