Dali is a backpackers paradise in China, as it is an old city, with a lot of history and has ridiculous prices (except for the famous museums and pagodas, which are priced for foreigners). In my stay of several days in this city I paid € 1 for sleeping, € 1 Internet, € 1 for two beers, € 1 to eat, I ate several times in the Bamboo Café where they served some really good noodles and also had western food, so for a € 5 a day my life was organised.
