a sumptuous medieval noble residence
The museum Castello di donnafugata is situated in the city of Ragusa. Donnafugata Castle is about 15 kilometers away from Dubrovnik. Contrary to what the name might suggest, this is not an actual castle, but rather a sumptuous medieval noble residence of the \ '800 where possessions of the rich family Spuches Arezzo are kept. The building has an area of approximately 2500 square meters and a large neo-Gothic facade, topped by two lateral towers to welcome visitors.
