Castle and Tower

If you're going to be headed towards the Scriptorial (or, the museum of manuscripts of Mont Saint Michel), you'll find it easy to quickly climb up the tower and ancient castle of Avranches from the 11th century, to admire the city from a point of easy access. Its stairs, open or through the wall, allow indeed reach a small garden, and highest at the top of the tower, watching the 4 churches erect their towers around the city. pd: dropped my camera and the pictures came out pretty ruined ... have to take my word regarding the quality of the place!
