Cathedral Treasure

The Museum of the Treasure of the Aosta Cathedral is inserted into the aisle of the Cathedral itself, and includes works from the church, and from other buildings in the region. This museum is especially interesting because of the variety and richness of the objects displayed, ranging from a late Roman ivory diptych of Probus anise, the remains of the monumental tombs of Oger fifteen who have died, and Francisco Challant, Thomas II of Savoy, to works by Barroque goldsmiths , also work by the international Gothic jeweller Jean Mechelen.
