Charlottenlund Fort

Camping is a wonderful choice for all adventurers who want to risk a tent in the freezing temperatures of the city of Copenhagen. Even in summer, nights are cold and damp, due to the proximity of the North Sea. This is a really beautiful site, open only in summer, for those who want to enjoy an original holiday. It's located in an old war fort, which is completely surrounded by a renovated moat. You can still see the old cannons. It's an alternative, very economic type of accommodation. The fortress dominates the beach, which retains all the charm of the North Sea. It is about 8km from the city centre, but well-connected by the 6A bus which stops right outside the campsite.
