1 review of Church of Santa Eulalia

Great Value

This is one of the great architectural jewels that Luarca has to offer. This church is dedicated to Santa Eulalia. It's a temple dating from 912, but there's nothing left of the remains. Afterwards, another one was built in the 12th century, which wasn't much. The current church has resisted the years. It was built by architects Martin Aramburu and Amador Cernuda in 1879. If you visit the interior, you can admire the 3 naves in which Baroque altarpieces of the former church, and are of great value. One of them is Santa Eulalia de Mérida, which is said to date back to between 1770 and 1880.
