Coira Castle

The castle and museum are located in the lovely city of Bolzano. The castle, the gateway to Val Mazia Valley, houses a mixture of Romanesque, Gothic and Renaissance pieces (pictured: the castle as seen from Sluderno). Everybody, not only culture lovers, will be very impressed by the sculptures of Madonna called "signs of death" in the castle's chapel and the arches of the dome which are made of Renaissance marble.
