Women in India who are married, to show their fidelity, part their hair in the middle and right on that line a red line is painted and a red dot, so that everyone knows she's married. I have labelled this the city of Agra because that is where these photos were taken, even though you can see this tradition through out India. If a woman is engaged, she wears many bracelets on one arm. As for the man, his first grey hairs are painted red to be seen all over India. Women also do this, though I saw very few, but the inverse of the men, and some had all white hair, which was dyed orange.
