Worth a visit

True emblem of the city of Bastia in Corcega, the Church of Saint Jean Baptiste above the old port, is easily recognizable with its two steeples. It is difficult to see on foot, due to the maze of streets. The church can be seen perfectly from the Citadel and the Quays of the Old Port. There we discovered orange facades dating from the baroque era, since the building was built in the seventeenth century. Known as the largest church in Corcega its worth a stop along the way to see it.
