Étretat

The cliffs located in this small town in Normandy are truly impressive. It's a must-see for all those landscape-fanatics who have the good fortune of passing through Normandy. Oh, and the Atlantic water is COLD.

Walking up a 6am in Étretat, with the gulls' calls as a good morning, beckoning you to have a coffee in the B&B and head up the cliffs until Notre Dame de la Garde to enjoy the sunrise tinting the whole sky pink and orange. It was the most gratifying experience of summer 2012.
