Worth a visit
The former convent of Father Teatini is located in the historical centre of Lecce. Today there are just a few elements remaining of what was once the great convent of Lecce. It dates back to around 1586, when it was founded in the baroque city. The palace is typical of the Lecce Baroque style, with the characteristic limestone. The area of the former convent is used as an urban space with exhibitions, events, fairs, and a Bethlehem scene. Worth a visit!
