Unforgettable sunrises from our balcony
Finding this beach front apartment in Ibiza was the best decision I could have made in 2013. We stayed in one of the city's real neighbourhood, where many local Ibizans live, and they were our neighbours throughout the year. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, with pretty little Figueretas beach right in front of us. Every morning we'd get up and go to the balcony to admire the spectacular views of the beach. The apartment, between the city centre and the old and new quarters of Can Misses and En Bossa beach, couldn't have a better location - close to everything, with good public transport, a white area for parking, and a taxi rank in front. We rented out a triple room with a private bathroom in our apartment to help pay the rent.
The water on Figueretas beach is surprisingly clean for an urban beach, and the quality of both water and sand is great when compared to En Bossa. It's not too popular with the crowds, so it doesn't get polluted or claustrophobic in summer. The apartment is near the beach in Los Molinos, located on a hill where you find some old mills and from which you can enjoy beautiful views of the bay of Ibiza - Playa de en Bossa.
