7 reviews of Sydney Fish Market

Sushi and fresh fish in Sydney!

One of the corners of Sydney, the fish market, though a bit out of the centre, is the ideal place to pick up some fresh fish. A taxi from the centre costs about $40,and you can select the fresh fish you want (shrimp, squid, lobster, octopus, crayfish, sashimi, etc), and then eat at some outdoor tables beside the bay. Be careful - the seagulls will attack you, trying to loot your fish, so keep an eye out. We left 3 prawns when we stood up, and the seagulls descended before we'd even left.

One of the biggest fish market in Australia

Excellent

Probably the biggest. Lots of fish fast food to eat in.
