Aguas Calientes Handicraft Market

One of the most charming places in the town of Aguas Calientes is the evening market in one of the most central streets along the Urubamba River. It's a small enclosure with numerous stalls full of all kinds of typical Peruvian items. It's a colourful place, since in most stalls sell pants, dresses and all kinds of Peruvian clothes remarkable for the garish colours. The stalls are attached to each other and the streets are very narrow and crowded so it can be difficult to get from one side to another. Normally, all stalls offer more or less the same prices, but you can haggle, especially if you are going to buy more than one item.
