Viktualienmarkt

O mercado das vitualhas (Viktualienmarkt) é o mais conhecido mercado da cidade de Munique. Fica no centro da cidade, praticamente por trás de Marienplatz seguindo por entre a Hugendubel e o Deutsches Bank e virando à esquerda ao lado da igreja conhecida como Alter Peter. Aqui se encontra de tudo em termos alimentares, mesmo aqueles produtos menos comuns na cozinha alemã. Mas além das frutas, legumes, carnes e peixe (este com menor presença), há também uma cervejaria ao ar livre, que inicia atividade assim que a neve e o frio intenso dão lugar à primavera e aos longos dias amenos. A vivacidade do Viktualienmarkt deve-se aos esforços da cidade no sentido de o manter após a 2ª Guerra Mundial, que tendo sido profundamente destruído, esteve para ser substituído por um edifício. Além disso os habitantes de Munique contribuíram ainda com as várias fontes evocativas de cantores populares de Munique e com o Maibaum, o estandarte de Maio, se quisermos, que enfeita esta praça e mercado.

Paseando por el centro histórico de Munich, bastante cerca de Marienplatz, encontré este mercado dónde se venden tanto alimentos autóctonos de la región de Baviera como una gran oferta de exquisiteces gastronómicas. El Viktualienmrkt existe desde la época del Rey Maximiliano I y, según me explicaron ahí, cuando a su alrededor construyeron un nuevo emplazamiento para acoger a los puestos del mercado, los tenderos no quisieron moverse de la plaza al aire libre que ahora siguen ocupando y que hace del mercado un lugar agradable. De todas formas, en el nuevo edificio se han instalado todas las carnicerías que venden muchissimas especialidades distintas de salchicas y "sauer kraut" (chucrut) en lata.

O mercado original localizava-se na Marienplatz, a praça principal da cidade, no entanto com o passar do tempo esta ficou muito pequena para a o mercado e, em 1807, o Rei Maximiliano I lançou um decreto criando uma nova área para o mercado. Na época, algumas casas e edifícios foram demolidos para dar lugar à praça que hoje abriga o"Viktualienmarkt" que fica aberto o ano todo de Segunda a Sábado.

Questo mercato delle vettovaglie ospita numerosissimi stand di ogni genere oltre ad un meraviglioso giardino della birra. Qui ci si può prendere da bere e da mangiare nei vari stand e accomodarsi a pranzare nel giardino. È davvero uno dei mercati più forniti che abbia visto con ortaggi, specialità culinarie locali e non e, a dominare la piazza, il caratteristico “albero di maggio”. La leggenda vuole che il giardino rimanga aperto durante il periodo delle foglie di castagno, da quando si aprono a quando cadono.

Es un mercado en una plaza muy curioso. Hay frutas, verduras, carne, pan... Hay mucho color. Para semana Santa venden huevos pintados (para comérselos duros). En un día de sol es muy bonito visitarlo porquesorprende la diversidad de colores. También hay tiendas de especialidades (como por ejemplo de comida española). Cómo no, tampoco falta un biergarten con sus mesitas. También hay fuentes con agua que baja de los Alpes y el palo de mayo. Cuentan que quien consiga robar este palo (de una medida considerable) que preside la plaza del mercado tendrá una fiesta gratis con cerveza (nos contaron que alguna vez para el oktoberfest lo han robado)

Está genial porque puedes comprar la comida en el mercado al aire libre en el que está integrado y comerla en el Biergarten. Hay muchísima variedad de productos. En el Biergarten se sirven los seis tipos de cervezas originales muniquesas: Augustiner, Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbräuhaus, Löwenbräu, Paulaner y Spaten. Cada día se vende sólo una de ellas. Tiene una capacidad de 1.000 personas y se encuentra en la plaza de Viktualienmarkt, al lado de Marienplatz, en el centro de Múnich.

It"s great because you can buy food at the outdoor market where it"s integrated and eat it at the Biergarten. There is a great variety of products. The Biergarten serves six types of original Munich beers: Augustiner, Hacker-Pschorr, Hofbräuhaus, Löwenbräu, Paulaner and Spaten. Every day only one of them is sold. It has a capacity of 1,000 people and is located in the Viktualienmarkt square, next to Marienplatz, in the center of Munich.

Situado na saída da Old Town Hall, esse mercado fervilha de turistas e locais a procura de bons produtos e de excelentes locais para uma refeição leve e descontraída a base de produtos locais de primeira. Vale a pena passear e comer algo.

Dove mangiare tipiche pietanze bavaresi e non solo. Si può mangiare al volo e continuare il giro della meravigliosa Monaco oppure sedersi in tranquillità e gustarsi una birra fresca in estate, o un bel the caldo in inverno, compresa coperta per il gelo :) .

A wonderful place to eat typical Bavarian dishes and more. You can eat on the fly and continue the marvelous tour of Monaco or sit in tranquility and enjoy a cold beer in the summer, or a nice hot tea in winter, including a blanket for freezing :)
