Remains of a Phoenician fortress
In these photos you can see what little remains of the fortress of Zalia, in the municipality of Alcaucin, Axarquia, Malaga. The construction of this fortress began under the Phoenicians, but it was the Arabs who finished its building. It is located in the road from Velez-Malaga to Zafarraya, near the province of Granada.
