Gaius Memmius Monument

The memorial to Gaius Memmio was built in 88BC as a tribute to the architect of the same name, an aqueduct builder and grandson of the dictator Sulla. It is located in the Plaza of Domitian, linked by semicircular arches with images of Memmio, his father and grandfather, Caio Sila.
