A unique hotel experience
This hotel-villa is located in Saariselka. The rooms have specially-designed glass igloos to see the Northern Lights at night. It's magical. In the village there is also the possibility of sleeping in ice igloos. Personally, I prefer the heat!
The dinner in the ice restaurant is a great experience. They also have a sauna which is great, especially when you have experienced Lapland: when you get out of the sauna you have to put on socks (in order to not burn your feet!) And go running through the snow to plunge into the lake water, which you can see through the hole in the ice.
