Lübeck is historically one of the major German cities, it was the capital of the Hanseatic League, advantaged by its location between two rivers the Trave and Wakenitz and also flows into the Baltic Sea and the old town is surrounded by a large channel. Paddling is a different way (and mostly at a different angle) to know the city. Yes, it takes time, a round trip takes about three hours.
