Interesting defensive tower
The Calahorra Tower is located only a few steps from the back of the Basilica of Santa Maria. It’s an Almohad defensive tower dating to the end of the 12th century and is one of the only remaining traces of Moorish rule in the Valencian Community.
The originality of the structure and above all its balconies and windows make it one of the more interesting places to visit in Elche.
