La Estancia de Elias

It was a very cold day and the road ahead was blocked. The National Guard told us that there was ice ahead on the road, which was unsafe to pass. So we stopped just before reaching Uspallata and took the opportunity to have lunch at the grill restaurant "La Estancia of Elijah". There was a huge fireplace inside, so we warmed up next to it for a bit and ordered an exquisite flame-roasted lamb that was served immediately. After a while, when our cold and hunger had been appeased, we looked at the restaurant's décor. Flags and souvenirs from various countries were hung on the walls and there were also many pictures and postcards with thanks and greetings from the most remote places.
