Igreja da Ordem Terceira de Sao Francisco

Bordering the historic center of Faro is Largo de São Francisco, a vast square containing the walls, castle, San Francisco Church and one of the gateways to the Vila Adentro (called Arco do Repouso). The square has a huge ornamental fountain that's very modern and excellent views of the Ria Formosa, if you continue down the outside of the wall there is the Observation Center of the estuary.
